Malthouse Theatre is a company dedicated to the development, production, and promotion of contemporary Australian theatre.
With a strong focus on the development of new work, Malthouse Theatre presents reinvestigations of classic work, reappraisals of the Australian repertoire and the best of new Australian and international theatre-making on its stages.
Allens Arthur Robinson has enjoyed a productive relationship with Malthouse Theatre for more than 10 years.
Malthouse Theatre is proud to have Allens Arthur Robinson as a supporter. It looks forward to this support continuing as Artistic Director Michael Kantor develops the theatre's vision. As well as a three-season - Autumn, Winter and Spring - program of shows, Malthouse Theatre has also programmed Things on Sunday. Designed to engage audiences with the broader context of theatre by speaking to, and about, a range of cultural concerns in Australia today.
As a key resident of the Ngargee arts precinct on Sturt St in Southbank, Malthouse Theatre at The CUB Malthouse will also be working closely with its neighbours, ACCA and Chunky Move, to offer a full calendar of events to visitors.
