Extensive sports experience

We have an unrivalled sports client base, acting for many of Australia’s and the world’s elite sporting bodies. No other law firm in Australia has the depth of knowledge our team has by way of its involvement with large scale sporting events and sporting organisations. We have advised in relation to numerous Olympic Games and Commonwealth Games, including our Australian and Beijing Intellectual Property Teams having recently advised The Australian Olympic Committee on issues relating to the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

We have advised a vast number of Australia’s major sporting bodies including Cricket Australia, Australian Rugby Union and Australian Racing Board. We have also had considerable involvement in national and international sporting events having advised on several Rugby World Cups, Cricket World Cups, Australia’s Formula 1 Grand Prix and Australia’s Melbourne Cup Carnival.
