Advised on the float of AMP Capital China Growth Fund, the first ASX-listed fund authorised to invest directly in China A Shares.

AMPCI Macquarie Infrastructure Management
Advised on its quadruple staple that involves the creation of a new trust and distribution in specie of the units.

Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board
Advising on its proposed A$2 billion acquisition of the ASX-listed stapled group, Macquarie Communications Infrastructure Group.

Charter Hall
Advised on the restructure and float of its stapled property group. We also advised on the subsequent establishment of new property funds and a number of property acquisitions.

CitySpring Infrastructure Trust
Acted for CitySpring Infrastructure Trust, a Singapore business trust, on its acquisition of the Basslink project.

Galileo Japan Trust
Advised on what was only the third Japanese property trust listed on the ASX.

General Property Trust
Advised General Property Trust on the proposed merger with Lend Lease, the defence of a hostile takeover bid by Stockland Property Group, and the ultimately successful internalisation of management. Also advised the GPT Group on its A$1.6 billion accelerated non-renounceable entitlement offer in October 2008, and its A$1.7 billion accelerated non-renounceable entitlement offer and institutional placement in May 2009.

Goodman Group
Advised on its A$955 million equity raising in the form of an institutional placement together with an accelerated non-renounceable entitlement offer. Also involved in negotiating a A$300 million financial facility for the Group.

Goodman Property Services
Advised on the establishment of the Goodman Australia Industrial Fund and on the acquisition of a A$1 billion property portfolio from Goodman Industrial Trust. The acquisition was funded by a capital raising.

Macquarie Airports
Advised on the IPO of Macquarie Airports, the IPO of its hybrid securities (TICKeTS) and subsequent entitlement offer.

Macquarie Capital Alliance Group
Advised on the take-private of the Group through three inter-conditional schemes of arrangement.

Macquarie International Infrastructure Fund
Advised on the A$178 million acquisition of a stake in Taiwan Broadband Communications.

Macquarie Media Group
Advised on the Group’s IPO and its subsequent triple stapling.

Queensland Investment Corporation Funds
Advised QIC on a number of its significant fund transactions, including restructuring the QIC Investment Trust, establishing the QIC Sydney Premium Office Fund and a A$1.3 billion retail shopping centre fund, and structuring an offering of an interest in that fund to wholesale investors.

Stark Investments (Hong Kong)
Advised on a US$200 million global aviation fund investment.
