Australand
Advising on the A$500 million mixed use development at Hope Island, Gold Coast.

'Q' Tower, Surfers Paradise
Advising Sunland on the world's tallest residential tower development.

CDP Capital - Real Estate Advisory Inc (a division of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec)
Advised CDP on the formation of its joint venture with Hong Kong-listed Shanghai Forte Land Co. to develop an estimated RMB 1 billion residential property project in Huishan District, Wuxi, China.

Colebee Release Area
Acting for Medallist Developments in the development of a 1,000-lot residential subdivision site incorporating an 18-hole golf course at Schofields in Sydney.

2006 Commonwealth Games
Advised on the development of the athletes village in Parkville.

Delfin Lend Lease
Advised on a number of Delfin Lend Lease developments including:

  • Edgewater Estate, a 95-hectare residential and mixed use site in Melbourne;
  • North Lakes, A$2 billion residential, retail and commercial development north of Brisbane;
  • Rouse Hill, a joint venture between Delfin Land Lease and GPT, which is developing a large mixed use site at Rouse Hill in Sydney, incorporating a large town centre and 1,800 residences;
  • St Marys, a A$2 billion urban development in the western Sydney growth corridor;
  • Twin Waters, a 1,000-lot residential subdivision adjacent to Twin Waters resort on the Sunshine Coast; and
  • Wilton, a residential and golf course development, south of Sydney.

Deutsche Bank Tower
Acted for BT on the Design Development Deed and D&C Contract with Bovis Lend Lease for the demolition of four CBD buildings and the design and construction of this new Sydney icon.

Department of State Development and Innovation (Queensland)
Advised the Queensland Government in the buyback of sawmills in the western hardwoods region of Queensland, with a view to achieving long-term sustainability of the hardwood forests in that region.

First China Property Group
Advising this joint venture between Macquarie Bank and Schroders in relation to its ongoing property development projects in Shanghai and Beijing.

GPT Management Limited
Advised GPT in the acquisition of six industrial properties in Silverwater, Canberra, Pinkenba, Sunshine, Burwood and Villawood as well as acquisition of industrial land from CSR Limited at Erskine Park. The Erskine Park development is expected to be valued at over A$300 million upon completion.

Hume Business Park
Acting for Ford Motor Company of Australia in its joint venture with MAB Corporation to develop the Hume Business Park, a large industrial park north of Melbourne.

Kawana Waters
Advised on this development of about 1,380 hectares in the coastal area between Caloundra and Mooloolaba, Queensland, involving approximately 7,000 residential allotments, a town centre, various community facilities, a major arterial road and various canals and lakes.

Macquarie Goodman
Acted on a number of its projects, including the acquisition of a site at Moorebank from Alcatel Australia. Our work on the projects has included advising on development agreements between the relevant developer and various public and charitable institutions.

Melbourne Docklands
At the Docklands precinct advising Stadium Operations, the developer and operator of the 52,000-seat Telstra Dome; GPT on the development of National Australia Bank's new headquarters; and on the development of a residential tower.

New Brighton Golf Club Limited
Advising New Brighton Golf Club on its proposed redevelopment of its golf course.

PT Supermal Karawaci
Advised PT Supermal Karawaci and its holding companies on a complex US$60 million refinancing for an Indonesian property development.

Acting for the Western Australia State Solicitor on this office, commercial and retail development and its integration with the underground railway including the lease back to the State.
