Acting for the M2 Operator on negotiating electronic tolling inter-operability
arrangements.
Acting for consortia and financiers bidding for the Mitcham - Frankston
Freeway, M4 East, Cross City Tunnel (and now the concession holder), Western
Sydney Orbital and Lane Cove Tunnel projects.
Energy
Advising Stanwell Corporation on work being undertaken at its Stanwell Power
Station.
Rail
Advising the Victorian Government in relation to the
Southern Cross Station Redevelopment, Regional Fast Rail and Country Rail projects and the
Warrnambool and Shepparton franchising.
Manufacturing
Acting for ADI on the modernisation of the Mulwala propellant facility and protection on its CMF
Steel Plant.
Commercial developments
Acting for QIC in relation to
the development of the Westpoint and Castle Towers shopping centres, and the
Sunland Group on the construction of the Q1 Tower on the Gold Coast.
Back-end
Our recent, back-end construction experience includes:
Petroleum
Acting on behalf of a petroleum company, which is in a dispute with a
contractor over the construction of a gas plant and off-shore flow lines.
Energy
Acting for generator in multiple security of payment adjudication
and arbitration over power station upgrade.
Engineering
Defended a
design engineering company in a A$30 million law suit arising from the
duplication of a bridge, and represented a contractor in an arbitration
concerning work to a Hong Kong office building.
Transport
Acting for a
state government department in dispute with contractors over the development on
new transport infrastructure.
Defence
Acting for a contractor in
several defence contract disputes.
Civil
Acting on behalf of a
contractor in relation to earthworks and excavation litigation being conducted
in the Norfolk Island Supreme Court.
