The right people with the right approach

Our finance experts regularly advise financiers and sponsors on complex and highly-structured construction and property finance transactions across all sectors of the industry. As well as legal and technical excellence, we offer genuine knowledge of the industry and its key players.

We are familiar with the full range of financing techniques and documentation relevant to this area, including design and construct contracts, development agreements and associated agreements with builders, key tenants and government authorities. We maintain a comprehensive database of major upcoming deals in both the property and infrastructure sectors which we make available to our key clients by way of our Project & Infrastructure Survey.

Our team has particular experience in matters involving debt raising by funds, in particular, REITs and other managed investment schemes. This means we understand the complex matrix of legal, tax and regulatory issues that market participants typically encounter and can effectively advise owners and lenders on the structuring of property transactions undertaken by those funds.

Our clients include CBA, Westpac, ANZ Bank, RBS, Suncorp-Metway, BOS International, Record Realty Trust, Goodman Group, Charter Hall, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley.
