Digital Television Reviews
In brief: We compiled the following table in the course of preparing for the digital television reviews required in 2004 and 2005 under the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.
In 1998 the Federal Government enacted legislation focused on converting us all from analog to digital television. Six years later, a series of reviews are underway into the status of digital television in Australia and its regulation.
In the context of the reviews, we prepared a table (pdf - 1283KB) that tracks the history of the legislation and links readers to material resources. It may be useful for those involved in the review process.
