Our recent experience includes:

  • acting for various insurance companies in the defence of claims against directors and officers arising out of recent Insolvencies
  • representing the interests of a number of clients in recent Coronial Inquiries
  • assisting ExxonMobil in relation to the long term sale of LNG from the Gorgon project to PetroChina and Petronet LNG
  • acting for Rio Tinto in their Brazilian and Argentinian disposals to Vale
  • acting for the WA State Solicitor on the proposed Kimberley LNG project
  • acting for Elliot Advisers (HK) on a major construction dispute in Africa
  • advised Brightwater Care Group on the Rossiter litigation where we advised Brightwater in relation to its criminal and civil liabilities arising from a patient's request that Brightwater cease feeding him to enable him to die
  • advising Rio Tinto on its proposed iron ore joint venture with BHP Billiton
  • advising Ravensdown Fertiliser Co-operative on its initial entry into Western Australia and subsequent expansion into other states
  • acting for Taylor Woodings in their capacity as receivers and managers of the entities which own the Emu Brewery site
  • acting for the WA State Solicitor on the Oakajee Port and Rail Project
  • assisting Shell in relation to its upstream Oil & Gas interests offshore of Western Australia
