Kristy Kennedy grew up in an Indigenous community in Bourke and came to Sydney to complete her Higher School Certificate. She is currently studying at the University of Sydney, completing her law degree and also works with Allens as a paralegal in the Litigation & Intellectual Property Department. Kristy comments on her involvement in university initiatives to support Indigenous students.
Pro bono work - Acid attack victims
In 2008 Allens Arthur Robinson graduate and Charity Committee member Natasha Simonsen went to Pakistan to work with the United Nations on a project with Afghanistan refugees. While there she became involved in assisting the victims of acid attacks. These attacks leave the women and children affected facing horrific medical and long-term psychological issues. Some of the images in this video feature pictures of acid attack patients and viewer discretion is advised.

Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick
Allens Arthur Robinson Neurology Fellowship
The Allens Arthur Robinson Neurology Fellowship provides funding for a doctor already trained in paediatrics to receive intensive training in the field of paediatric neurology from world-class clinicians at the Sydney Children's Hospital in Randwick. The Fellow provides advice to general practitioners, a crucial resource to doctors in rural and remote areas, through the hospital's outreach program. This year marks the tenth year of the Fellowship. In that time, the Allens Arthur Robinson Fellows have helped around 5000 young inpatients and outpatients with neurological problems, including epilepsy, brain tumours and cerebral palsy.
Sculpture by the Sea
Allens Arthur Robinson has been a sponsor of Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi NSW, since 2001 and has sponsored its sister exhibition at Cottesloe, WA, since its inception in 2005.
We were proud to continue our association by sponsoring the Sculpture by the Sea exhibition at Bondi, 16 October - 2 November 2008.
