Allens Arthur Robinson wins prestigious intellectual property award

8 March 2005

Allens Arthur Robinson's strong intellectual property and trade mark practice has been recognised by an international poll as one of the top firms in trade mark and copyright work.

The firm was ranked equal first in Managing Intellectual Property's 'top firms in trade mark and copyright work', following feedback and nominations from more than 4000 IP practitioners worldwide.

The head of Allens Arthur Robinson's IP Practice Group, Jim Dwyer, said the award was particularly pleasing because the survey considered both law firms and specialist trade mark attorney practices.

'This ranking is a reflection of the talent, commitment and team work of our lawyers and trade mark attorneys,' he said.

'Our trade mark and copyright practice continues to grow and we have a strong mix of international and Australian-based clients.'

Based on peer feedback and commentary from interviews with specialists and inhouse counsel in each jurisdiction, the rankings for each of the 57 jurisdictions were arranged into tiers. Allens Arthur Robinson ranked equal first in tier one.

This follows Allens Arthur Robinson's recent ranking by Managing Intellectual Property as a tier one leading Australian patent firm.
