Allens Arthur Robinson acts for Qantas in response to proposal from Airline Partners Australia

Allens Arthur Robinson (AAR) confirms it has acted as legal counsel to Qantas in its investigation of the approach it received from a private equity consortium and is now advising on its response to the A$11.1 billion takeover proposal which was subsequently made by Airline Partners Australia.
AAR is providing strategic mergers and acquisitions advice. The AAR team is being led by Ewen Crouch and also involves partners Phillip Cornwell and Andrew Finch.
Blake Dawson Waldron is advising Qantas on other aspects of the proposal.
