Maryjane has been involved in some of Australia's best known product liability and occupational health and safety cases including litigation involving tobacco companies, a breast implant manufacturer and an asbestos company.
She has represented manufacturing, food and pharmaceutical companies against claims for product defect, contamination, recalls and adverse reactions. She also advises companies on accident response and investigation following serious injuries or fatalities and on health and safety management systems.
Maryjane was admitted to practice in 1981. She is a past president of the National Product Liability Association, and is a member of the international defence counsel organisations, the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel and the Defense Research Institute. |
