Rosemary specialises in the area of commercial property. She was admitted to practice in 1971 and has been with the firm for over eight years.
Rosemary has extensive experience in the sale and purchase of major CBD buildings and hotels, property due diligence, broadacre developments and commercial and retail leasing and has negotiated and documented the leasehold tenure for major resources and energy projects.
Rosemary's relevant experience includes acting for:
- Rio Tinto in the negotiation and documentation of the agreements to lease and leases of its Remote Operations Centre and associated office buildings at Perth Airport, intended to accommodate and centralise the remote operation of Rio Tinto's mines, ports and an integrated network of heavy haul railways in the Pilbara;
- various Rio Tinto entities in the leasing of Perth CBD office space including The Quadrant, Wesley Centre and Hamersley Iron Pty Ltd's WA head office in Central Park;
- Australian Leisure and Entertainment Property Trust on the purchase of The Balmoral and The Brass Monkey Hotels;
- Downer EDI in the negotiation and documentation of its corporate head office at Canning Vale; and
- AMP Capital Investors Ltd on the purchase of the CBD office building known as 30 The Esplanade Perth.
Rosemary is admitted to practice in Western Australia and Victoria and is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia's Property Law and Conveyancing Continuing Professional Development Committees.
