Our Hong Kong office has a select number of trainee solicitor intakes each year. In the two-year traineeship, we provide our trainee solicitors with an exceptional and comprehensive training program in a truly international and supportive environment. Significant resources and effort are devoted to help our trainee solicitors become great lawyers.
You will not be waiting years for interesting work and responsibility. Our lawyers work in teams and you are part of a team from day one. You will be involved in different practice areas and high-end matters. You will also be expected to build client relationships and be engaged in business development at the outset. You will be assigned a Development Supervisor – a partner to give you continuous feedback and guidance throughout the traineeship and a buddy – a junior lawyer to help you settle in.

Our young lawyers are encouraged to take the time to learn and develop essential legal skills which will form the foundation of a successful career. We want our trainee solicitors to stay on after their admission.
