Your life

As a key component of our firm's people strategy and led by our Managing Partner, Michael Rose, we support you in working flexibly to achieve your work and personal goals, such as study, leisure activities, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, contributing to the community and spending quality time with friends and family.

Our approach to flexibility is broad, as we anticipate that your need for flexibility will vary at different life stages, at different ages, and as your family commitments change. Flexibility is more than just establishing a flexible work arrangement; it is about how, when, and where work is done and empowering you to develop efficient and effective work practices that benefit you and the firm.

With this in mind, we have created a number of initiatives under our Life & Work program:

  • Flexible leave policies, including an Additional Annual Leave policy, and a Purchased Annual Leave policy, allowing you the opportunity to purchase an additional two weeks' annual leave per year.
  • Flexible work policies including Job-share, Flexible Working Hours, Part-time, and Working from Home policies.
  • Managing the Transition programs:
    • Families and work. This program includes professional coaching sessions, keeping-in-touch and buddy programs, childcare information kits for mothers and fathers, and paid parental leave for parents.
    • Eldercare. This program includes information kits that provide valuable resources to our employees faced with the financial and emotional challenges of caring for an elderly relative.
  • A Life & Work intranet site dedicated to promote, communicate and foster a culture of flexibility and wellbeing.
  • A LiveWell site focusing on education, motivation, and health and well-being initiatives across all of our offices.
