Welcome to the second edition of our alumni newsletter – In Brief (pdf 460KB).
The response to In Brief has been fantastic, with many of you sending us your comments and forwarding copies to former colleagues. As a result, we have been able to reconnect with many people with whom we had lost touch.
This year has been a challenging and uncertain year for many of our clients. These clients have looked to us for assistance with the new and complex issues that are confronting them as a result of the market turmoil. It has been a busy and stimulating year for our firm as we have worked with our clients to respond to the new market conditions. It has also been a year of significant growth, with the appointment of 10 new partners, including four partners in Asia.
As this will be the last edition of In Brief for 2008, I would like to thank you all for staying in touch during the year. I hope that many of you have an opportunity to take a break over the holiday period and I look forward to being in touch again in the New Year.
